Jumeirah Port Sóller Hotel & Spa - Mallorca, Spain

Built on a cliff overlooking the fishing village of Port Soller and surrounded by the Tramuntana mountain range, the Jumeirah Port Soller Hotel & Spa promises a true escape - even appearing to float between the sky and the sea. The warm Mediterranean climate and the Jumeirah Port Soller Hotel's glorious natural setting make this luxury hotel in Mallorca the ideal place for a beautiful stay.

Guests are offered cool flannels and freshly squeezed orange juice at check-in. Hotel facilities include bike rental and storage, as well as excursions such as private art visits, sunset boat rides, wine tours, and hiking trips in the Tramuntana mountains. There is also a shuttle service, the willing driver will take you to the port below the hotel and after exploring the local city will take you back to the hotel.

One of the highlights of the hotel for us was the infinity pool perched over the edge of the cliff making it seem one with the sea below. The spa has a treatment menu featuring local ingredients such as olive oil, lemon, and almonds, and is complemented by an open-air heated hydropool, hammam, salt steam bath, Relaxation area Meditation room and ice fountain.

The hotel has five dining options and bars. Leading the pack is the elegant Cap Roig restaurant: situated by the Sa Talaia pool, it has a terrace overlooking the sea, and an à la carte menu featuring seafood, fine cuts of meat, paella and vegetarian options. The Sunset Lounge serve a plethora of cocktails and Asian-Peruvian dishes such as ceviche and oriental port gyoza with teriyaki sauce. This place is perfect for an experience with food and sunset over the Mediterranean Sea accompanied by a DJ.

The Jumeirah never disappoints. After experiencing all the available services, one wrong word cannot be said. The high distance from the nearby Port de Sóller will perfectly take you to a relaxing mood. Throughout the large resort along the coast work very helpful staff, who will provide you with everything you need to the last detail.

There are 81 generously proportioned rooms and 40 suites, including the private Mar Blau villa, which has its own pool. All rooms offer views of the sea or mountains from their terraces. A gift basket of local olive oil and sea salt is included, while those staying in Signature or Junior suites receive two handcrafted pairs of shoes made by Carmina, a renowned island shoemaker.
