INTRODUCTION
Hi,
I am Stefan Klinger and I live in Switzerland. I am a passionate landscape photographer, but I am also interested in astro and travel. Although Switzerland is a beautiful country, I like to travel to other countries and places with my wife. Since a couple of years I try to put as much effort in my photographic work as possible and to improve on an ongoing basis.
PORTFOLIO
Milky Way over glacier
„The glaciers in Switzerland are an awesome. I wanted to do this view over the Bernina glacier with the Milky Way since last year and we were really lucky with a clear sky on the night we stayed up on the Diavolezza in Eastern Switzerland. Of course we had timed our trip in order that it was new moon and the Milky Way would be full up in its entire splendour."

Lofoten Norway with Northern lights
„The Northern lights are are always an awesome sight, not least because one has to earn them: Go out in the cold night, encounter a clear sky and have some magnetic activity from the sun. This picture here was taken in Henningsvaer in the Lofoten Islands in Northern Norway. The tower there reminded me somewhat of the Eiffel tower in Paris."

Patagonia with Torres del Paine
„Patagonia in South America is a beautiful place to travel and the National Park of Torres del Paine is particularly nice. The picture was taken some years ago and I can’t wait to get back there once Covid allows travelling again."

Iceland with Fagradalsfall vulcano
„I have a particular liking for Iceland because it is such a wild und untamed country. When the Fagradalsfall vulcano became active in March 2021, it became quickly clear that we wanted to see it in real life – and it was an experience we will never forget for the rest of our days."

Alpstein-Seealpsee-Snow
„Winter at its best at my favourite mountain lake. This lake is called "Seealpsee" in Eastern Switzerland and it is quite close to where we live and I am often there during all seasons. Here I liked the moody winter scene."
